Zakaria: "A Child of the Desert"

Originally from M’hamid El Ghizlane, the last village at the gates of the Sahara Desert in the southeast of Morocco.
Born and raised in this environment of arid and majestic landscapes, Zakaria grew up in harmony with the wild nature surrounding him.
He carries within him the traditions and wisdom of his ancestors, desert nomads who learned to live in balance with this demanding nature.
However, his journey does not stop at the borders of the desert.
With 15 years of experience in the tourism industry, Zakaria has traveled the four corners of Morocco, taking visitors through the Atlas Mountains, the Atlantic coasts, the great cities, and of course, the vast stretches of the Sahara.
His expertise allows him to share not only his love for the desert but also the cultural richness of his country.

Alsace is my birthplace, and my passion for Morocco began in October 2018 during an unforgettable trip to the desert that led me down a different path in life.
This journey was a true love at first sight: I was fascinated by the beauty, power, and magic of this place — the Sahara Desert.
I was also deeply moved by the warmth of the locals and the vibration of this land.
Since that moment, my love for Morocco has continued to grow, and this land has naturally become my heart's home!
I travel to Morocco several times a year to immerse myself in the country and connect with its people.
As a wellness practitioner, I chose to combine my passion for the desert with my professional expertise by creating unique wellness retreats in collaboration with Maroc Adventures.
Each retreat is an opportunity for me to share this deep passion I have for Morocco.
My goal is to convey what makes me feel alive in the lands of Morocco and to take you to places that are rich in meaning.
